I am a Professional Photographer based in Chicago. I often travel to NY, LA, and other cities to shoot. Please keep an eye on my News page to see if I will be coming to your city soon. I'm an all-purpose Photographer, and chances are, I can shoot what you need! I work with all shapes and sizes, males and females. My work appears in Model Portfolios for Ford, Elite, Click, Wilhelmina, and more. I am the principle Photographer for LuvCharlie.com. It is my goal to keep my rates low, while still maintaining quality. Being a former model, I know how expensive working with Professional Photographers can be. I prefer to keep the prices for my services reasonable. I also work out of my home studio, so my costs are low. You'll find that my rates are much lower than a lot of other Pro Photographers. I am able to do a variety of Photography styles; Actor Headshots, Beauty, Fashion, Lifestyle, Commercial, Editorial, Edgy, Artistic, and just about everything else. I can work in studio, or outdoors.

I work with very talented Makeup Artists/Hair Stylists, and Wardrobe Stylists. Their rates vary, and are an additional charge. I am happy to recommend someone for your shoot. If you are investing in a Professional photoshoot, I recommend that you also invest in a MUA. It can be the difference between a great photo, and a FANTASTIC photo.

No Hidden fees or costs! Print your photos anywhere you'd like!

Note: I am currently unable to do free shoots or time for CD exchanges. However, I think you will find my rates extremely reasonable. Unlike the risk of TFP, you WILL get photos from me that are suitable for your market.

More Shoot Information (for Models, Actors, Musicians, etc):

I shoot all digital, and I take at least 60 frames per look. I keep shooting until I know I've got the shots you need. This means you get a very wide variety of shots to chose from. The more frames you get, the better chance of getting a spectacular shot to use in your portfolio. What I normally do is shoot full length, 3/4 length, and headshots for each look.

I will provide you with a digital proof of every image we take. You will be able to go over these with your agent and decide which photos to have touched up and printed for your portfolio. High resolution files of your selections are provided via my website. If you require a CD, it's just $5 extra. Most often, you will just be able to download the photos and burn them to a CD yourself.

The rate also includes retouching (erasing pimples, dark circles, etc) for 2 shots per look at no extra charge. If you use a makeup artist, retouching will be minimal. I don't normally do manipulating like pinching in waists, but this can be arranged for an extra fee. If you require more shots, my retouching rates are very low (usually around $5-10 a picture). Generally, you only need 1 or 2 images from each 'look' to put in a portfolio. You will be provided with very high resolution files for the images you chose for your portfolio. This is basically like having the negative, and you are free to take it to any lab for printing.

This also includes access to my discount printer for cost. I use mpix.com, and they do incredible quality 8x12 prints for $3 (or any other size you need). I've run across some photographers who charge upwards of $30 per print, so this will save you some money.

The rate does not include a makeup artist, but I highly recommend that you hire one for the shoot. It can make or break a photo. I have several makeup artists and hair stylists to recommend. I also recommend that you hire a Fashion Stylist if you are a signed model. However, this is totally up to you, and if you're good at doing your own, that's fine too! Also, if you're on a budget, try looking for cosmetology/fashion students to work with. They will sometimes work for free in exchange for photos. I have no problem providing the pictures we shoot for their portfolios, with your permission.

I am happy to guide you to get the right kind of photos for your portfolio. If you need a commercial, editorial, or edgy look, or headshot, let me know and I will do my best to create exactly what you want. I also have no problem emulating other photographer's styles, so feel free to bring in tear sheets to show me! In addition, I have no problem recreating images I have already taken. Being a former model, I strive to make the models feel comfortable on set, and they are welcome to bring any ideas they have to me. Also, if you are a new model and are not sure what to do, I will gladly direct and guide you to get that perfect shot for your portfolio. I will do my utmost to make sure you are satisfied with the results. You are also welcome to bring a friend/chaperon.

My photos have appeared in model portfolios from Elite, Ford, Wilhelmina, Click, and many more. You WILL get shots you can use for your book, or to get you started in modeling or acting!

If you would like to reserve a time slot, I will need a deposit of half the shoot amount. I accept money orders, or you can pay instantly with paypal.com using a credit card or checking account. When you email me to set up a shoot, I will give you instructions on how to do that. Cancellation policy:

When you make your deposit, I am setting aside a specific time and day that is only for your shoot. For this reason, deposits are non-refundable. However, if you must postpone your shoot, please do so as far in advance as possible. We will then set aside another date and time for your shoot. I appreciate your understanding!

For studio work, I don't have a minimum, but for outdoor work, I require a 2 look minimum.
