Do you do Time For Print exchanges? I am currently unable to do free shoots or time for CD exchanges. However, I think you will find my rates extremely reasonable. Unlike with TFP, you WILL get photos from me that are suitable for your market! How do I get into modeling? The best advice I can give you is to go to the 'Open Calls' at your local agencies. I have heard good things about this company for comps: Here is the website I use to print in smaller quantities: What to do before our shoot: We will discuss what kind of looks you want to do before you arrive. Come prepared for the makeup artist by arriving with a clean a face and clean (dry) hair. Moisturize your face and lips. Get a good night's rest! Drink water, and don't drink alcohol the night before. Don't dye your hair, wax, or do any major beauty regimens RIGHT before the shoot. Give yourself at least a few days before the shoot.Bring any other ideas you have to the shoot (pages from magazines, etc). Steam or iron your garments, and try to bring them in a garment or dry cleaner's bag. If you are shooting more casual looks (jeans, etc), this won't be as necessary. Think about bringing: nude bra, strapless bra, nude panties, seamless panties, lotion, control undergarments, bottle of water, straw for drinking water while wearing lipstick, a robe to put on in between looks, visine (to make your eyes brighter). If you're doing a beauty shot or other shot where your bare shoulders will be showing, think about taking your bra or constricting clothing off while you're getting your makeup done. This will cut down on red marks on your skin. Bring CDs, or an ipod of your favorite music. Feel free to bring music that will help you move well at your shoot! Practice: Poses and facial expressions in the mirror. Study other models, flip through magazines for inspiration. Do your research! Look around at Clothing retail sites for ideas on clothing and poses. Also, look at fashion magazines and websites for inspiration. In addition, a lot of models go shopping specifically for their shoots. This is helpful because you might wear something for your shoot that you might not wear in your daily life. A lot of the models also return these items after the shoot.
